Cedar Shoppe was founded in 1986 by Tim Braun, right here in St. Catharines. Tim set out to offer quality products, straight talk, and service that meant something.

For 38 years, that's exactly what Cedar Shoppe delivered. Contractors who knew Tim knew that their order would be right, their questions would get real answers, and they'd leave with what they actually needed to do the job well.

When Tim retired in 2024, he left behind something rare: a business with a genuine reputation — earned over nearly four decades, one customer at a time. New ownership has stepped in with a clear commitment: honour what was built, and carry it forward.
